On April 19, 2012 Management proposed the following temporary complex scheduling
changes to the Union in an effort to diminish the number of augmented custody posts by
approximately half:
That the number of inmate visiting days be cut to 2, Saturday and Sunday.
That all Visiting Room staff positions be temporarily reverted back to a five day schedule, staff
will work Visiting posts on visiting days and Special Assignment the other three days.
There will be a special Union meeting held on May 2, 2012 to inform the membership of these
proposed changes and also to get their feedback. Any alternate propositions to this proposal
can also be brought to the E-Board's attention for presentation to Management.
All dues paying Union members are encouraged to attend this meeting. If you cannot attend,
